I was able to fix corrupt files using SFC, but the update problem still persists. Each time WU runs on my Dell I receive the following error: " Intel - Other hardware - Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Manager - Error 0x800f0203", and my windows update history has dozens of the same error. Now, the reason I had the SFC/DISM issue was because I was trying to solve a windows update problem that I've been having for about a month. I just wanted to thank everybody for taking such great notes! Using the advice, I was able to get SFC to work properly and fix corrupt files by using DISM RestoreHealth with a mounted Windows 10 ISO. Hey there - I joined late last night (early this morning) after I found some amazing forums on SFC and DISM problems.
